Just posted post-op pics for anyone interested

Hi ya'll,
Thought I might try to help in some way and I can do that by posting pics of post op.  You can see them in my profile (by clicking on my username here.)  I'll add one more, 6 months post op as soon as I can get someone to take it. Kind of hard to take the back of your own head, lol.

Well the MRI showed room for flow, so they have decided I simply went too long before I had the surgery, so I will never walk again.  They told me it was about time to "face reality" and get an electric wheelchair.  So that is being ordered for me.  I'm very disappointed, but I have to think of the things that got better, like the use of my arms and the breathing. I was close to a ventilator on that one.  A few other things are improved, so I'm working on being happy :) Thanks for asking.
