Sounds like you need the sleep study sooner then later....ask your Dr about NovaSom as they come to your house and this helps get a more accurate record of what is going on and it is over 3 nights....they can do the blood oxygen levels at home too, I had it done and it was very easy to do....and it was covered by INS.
I woke up this morning Gasping for oxygen and my Blood pressure is 161/122
said I need that looked at soon. They said I may need a sleep study test. along with low oxygen i been waking up gasping for air with my blood pressure the last one read 180/118 and heart rate was reading 120
Glad to hear you were seen....I would advise you call your NS asap and let them know....the ER is only good for so much.....
What did they do about your oxygen levels?
I went to ER Last night and they said the incision is opening and has puss coming out. Also while I was at the ER i dozed off and my oxygen level flat lined. he gave me 7 days worth of antibiotics in case of infection
Hello. I am keeping current with your condition and I am also concerned about your issue with the incision site. As Selma advises, get in touch with your doctor as soon as possible. Do not delay, and please keep us current about what the doctor says.
Avoid touching it....and call your Dr asap. The morning will be ok...as it is getting late here,....
It could be you are rejecting the stitches.....
also it feels Wet around the area
well I can feel a hole now with internal stitching popping out and it feels very warm
Hi no it should not be splitting....do you have any liquid coming out....no matter how little....make sure you let your Dr know ASAP about this....he/she may want to get you an antibiotic ointment to apply to help prevent an infection and they may want to review the incision to see if it needs to be restitched.
Keep us posted/
I may have a problem my surgical scar is splitting. the wound seems to be opening. I don't know if it's normal or not
Ummm first I was given a RX that took me further out post op with my pain meds.....and I slowly tapered off....you are still newly in recovery....so, I would let you Dr know you RX is getting light and the OTC meds are not helping....at this point you should just be changing your med schedule not the meds....JMHO
I still have 19 hydrocodones left trying hard too not take them because i don't want to look like I am addicted. Thing is Ibuprofen is not working
Thank you for this helpful insight. It seems like the body has adjusted to the crowding, so now that there's room, the nerves can by fully innervated, something they've not been able to do for a long time. Please be patient and know that it will get better. God bless you.
sorry to hear you are dizzy and have problems with your shoulder. I spoke to my surgeon recently regarding the risks of surgery and one thing he noted was exactly what is happening to your shoulder. He said it is from the 11th cranial nerve. From what I remember he said the nerve is reacting from being compressed for so long and then reacting to all the room it has so to speak. It can go a little haywire and you can no longer move your arm. He said with physical therapy most patients make a full recovery.
Hi...sorry to hear you are having these issues.....do call your Dr and see what he/she advises
I am still hurting went too church today after surgery. I am dizzy and can't lift my left arm cause my shoulder hurts badly

Hello. Did you get your staples removed yesterday? I am waiting to hear the progress of your recovery. Be very kind to your healing body - get as much rest as possible. Please keep current so we k ow about your progress and can encourage you on your recovery.
Hi...I know it is so exciting to be pain free at this time....but remember sometimes it is the change surgery makes along with the pain meds that we feel ALL symptoms are gone...as we heal and start to do more some symptoms may return, for this reason DO NOT DO too much..still rest and take things slowly...hence my turtle on my avitar....slow and steady....so not rush things.
Keep us posted on your recovery.
Well I am recovering and best part is my symptoms are GONE the pain is still here but i get staples out friday. I can move my leg again. Thanks for all the prayers and support
I am wondering, 4 days after your surgery, how you are feeling. Be very kind to yourself during your healing process. It is a sensitive time and paying mind to your surgeon's post-op instructions are so important. Keep watch for anything unusual like a new symptom or any leakage or pain from your incision site. Please let us know about your progress on a daily basis. I hope you are feeling comfortable.
So happy to hear from you......praying you have a smooth recovery : )
