Pressure Headaches

Hi all - New question.  I am almost 2 years post surgery and doing well.  A few months ago I started noticing that if I laid on my left side I would start to get a pressure headache.  Then it would happen on my right side too and now, it seems to happen everynight no matter how I lay.  It feels just like pressure building up inside my head, starting at the base of my skull and radiating all over.  Feels like my head will explode from the inside out.  Not at all the same issues I had before surgery when I would get the intense pressure headaches at the base of my skull when coughing or bending over.  Is anyone else having these issues?  I'm sure it is Chiari - isn't everything!  Just wondered about others.
Thanks

Hi...I am at the same point post op as u almost 2 yrs...and I have had  some pressure return, but it appears to be weather related at this point for me.....

But, urs could be scar tissue...when was ur  last MRI?

Were u checked for a syrinx, tethered cord....?

U really should call ur dr and let him know about these changes u r having and get them checked.

I had my surgery Nov 2010 and I am having luck with migraine meds.  The surgery has triggered a lot of migraine headaches.  They are not the typical migraines that people describe.  They start at the base of my neck and work up my head.
Feels like a lot pressure. So much it feels like my ears will pop!  When I take a imitrex this will fade out.
For a long time I thought it was pressure.

Now I'm working on getting the muscles in my neck to relax as they trigger these headaches.
