Reoccurring symptoms post decompression

Hey all. It's been awhile. I was decompressed on 10/18/2011 and have been doing well since. Hence the reason I haven't been posting. Why am I posting now? I think my symptoms are coming back. I started having arm and hand tingles and numbness, head zaps and face and eye pain and numbness and looked back at an old journal and realized they seemed to be the things that led to my previous decompression.

Having said that, I'm not sure it's entirely Chiari. I'm having an MRI done to rule out anything else but it makes me wonder. For those of you who had decompression, when did your symptoms come back if they did? If they didn't, how long has it been since your decompression?

Hi. My surgery was 2 months ago, but I am experiencing some of the same symptoms as before my decompression. I am definitely keeping a detailed journal.

But, I did not have a syrynx. If you have signs of numbness or tingling, you should see your neurologist.

Yeah,  I would think  60 hrs  is  fatiguing your  body......2 yrs  for  the nerves to  heal  is  an  estimate....and  it is possible yours  are  still  healing....so, what  you do  can  affect how you  feel.....

Do  see  a dr  and  let  us  know  what  you  find out.

I was wondering the same things. I'm going to see a different doc and see what he says. The gp I went to was new and lost as an Easter egg. The one I am going to now works for a my plant and has been around the block. I'm going to see what he says and see if we can start ruling more things out.

I've been working 60 hours a week on average for the last year, not by choice, and I wonder if some of it isn't just my body being exhausted.

Hi   and  welcome  back....so sorry for the reasons tho.....

Symptoms can be due to several things...you are only 3 yrs post op....1- you can be over doing things,2- have some recent stress 3-Have  a related or non related condition with similar symptoms...

Did you have ALL related conditions ruled out?
