Surgery date

Hi everyone,

I'm usually a reader of our forum and not so much a writer.  I am having a decompression surgery on March 12.  I am so forever thankful for all the support I get from all of you. I feel like I'm not alone.  Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good day!!!

  Hi Mary...I am so glad u posted...and so glad to hear u got a surgery date.

Know I have ur date written on my list to post a Prayer thread for u.......do ask some one to post an update on ur progress as we will be curious : )

Hi,

My symptoms are severe pain in my neck and between my shoulder blades, nausea, dizziness, vertigo when I roll over at night, weakness in my arms, tingling and numbness in my hands and feet, weakness in my right leg, blurred vision, pain in the back of my head when I yawn or go to the bathroom, unsteady gait, extreme fatigue, strange pressures when I turn my head certain ways, migraines when I eat too much salty foods, tinnitis,etc.   I think I have all the major symptoms. They have intensified this past 6 weeks after lifting a heavy patient where I work.  I've been seeing Dr. Heffez in Milwaukee for this past year.  We tried all the conservative measures and now surgery is the next step.  I tell myself I'm ready, but I'm very scared and anxious.  I guess that would be normal for anyone facing surgery.  Well, I will keep you all posted.  Take care and God Bless.

Please u can also count on me...i know the emotional rollercoaster u r going through right now ...let it out and let us be part of ur journey.may i ask what are ur symptoms...who will b ur surgent?

I am so glad you let us know your surgery date. I pray that it gives you the relief you obviously need, as you get closer and while you go through it phrase keep us posted. I agree I am not sure emotionally where I would be without this group of amazing people!
