hey everyone- I thought it might be a good idea if we listed the tests we went thru or or are scheduled to go thru if they were pre x or post x, pre surg or what they were for. it might help the rest of us understand that it is just part of the common - uncommon process we all go thru

I also had an ultrasound of carodid arteries
EKG
echo cardiograhm

Wow, I had nowhere near as many tests...

Had a complete MRI (that's where they found the CM)
Pre-op, had complete physical including blood work

That's it for me. Guess I was fortunate...

Awesome Selma thanks I know that helps and lets some of the newer to the CM world now not to be freaked when they find out what they may be looking at. I personally had a lot of test not all related to CM and all were done before they even told me I had CM,  so I will run down some, I know I have a lot more to do that are CM related to go

physical exam

heart stress test

heart cath

ultrasound of carodid arteries

ultrasound of the heart

heart ultrasound with "bubble test"

mri with and w/o contrast of skull x 3

multiple xrays

lumbar puncture x 7 ( this is bad dont let them do this ever  if you are CM)

Cat scan

blood work ( which found - all of the following in last 12 months that were not there before, sugar, thyroid, - iron, - b12, - vit d, and a bone issue, along with some connective tissue type thing they havent' gone into.)

I had brain MRI w/wo contrast
cervical MRI
thoracic MRI
lumbar MRI
CINE MRI
3 D CT scan
X rays of cervical spine and lumbar spine

Urodynamics testing- bladder function  screening for tethered cord

Blood work to rule out the following
Lymes
Lupus
MS

Beighton  assesment - EDS

Plus a physical exam

Neurological exam

Ultra sounds

I may have missed some tests or might not have had the same as someone else.
