If u r going to go to Aurora u might as well try to see Dr Oro as he is one of the country's top Chiari NS's....and trust me there is a big difference btwn a NS and a Chiari specialist.

Yes, chiari does affect sleep and I take antihistamines that are helping me sleep I tries sleep meds and they did not help....I am also post op so I am sure surgery also changed some of it, but I was still having sleep issues after my surgery too.

U may want to see if u sleep on an incline if that helps with the way ur head feels...for some it is ICP and laying flat adds to the pressure.

Not sure what  mva is but the surgeon in Denver co said he need those results in befor scheduling surgery. He sent me to 2 more specialist for balance problems and memory lose  also don't know what to expect from that but the csf flow is diminished and the lordosis is reversed that is what the report says

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

It is not how many appointments but what all u r tested for and do u need surgery now?

The reversed cervical lordosis is the curiture  of ur neck...some have a loss of lordosis....those with a reversal can indicate whip lash.
Were u in a MVA ?
Diminished or an obstruction to CSF flow is what we look for to see if surgery is warranted. Then u look to see if u have a syrinx, disk issues, ICP, POTS, Sleep apnea, Ehlers-Danlos....vitamin and mineral levels....

The most important thing aside of ruling out ALL related conditions is to make sure u have a true Chiari specialist.

Healing from this surgery can take long, and even longer if the Dr is not well informed or experienced.

So do research Drs ...use the list we have, and take ur time to see how surgery may benefit u, cuz once u have surgery it will be some time b4 u can lift ur kids...
