cranial cervical instability

Could anybody please tell me what the symptoms are for CCI? I have chiari and had surgery 10 months ago and now was just diagnosed with POTS. I have neck pain when I bend my neck forward to look down at a phone computer etc. I was wondering if this could be the problem? Please any insight would be great! What do they do to test for it?

My surgery was back in July of 2014 and i am now suffering from neck pain daily.  I work full time about 35 minutes from home. But 2 days a week i drive over an hour.  By the end of the day and end of the drive I just want to put my head down.  I noticed that wheni look down too much it hurts my neck as well.  I have appt with neurologist to see if i can get the xrays as mentioned by Selma.  Starting to wonder what i have going on in the region too.  I do have headaches during the day but not every day.

  Hi...flexion and extension xrays along with some other testing....I was told a halo test...I didn't have it done but was still given the DX....it was too long ago I can''t recall the name of the test just know it involved the use of the halo.

CCI symptoms....sensation of having a bobble head...the head feels too heavy to hold up...so neck pain....headaches worsened by a drive in the car from all the jarring of the head....you need to stabilize the head and limit the motion in order to help with the pain.

With Chiari you should have  placed your computer up higher so you are not looking down....you want the monitor at eye level......

Did you have the tilt table testing?
