I just want to say thankyou to everyone who responded. Just by hearing ur answers it makes me feel better because people care. Just to fill u in on my past. My recovery from surgery has been terrible it is filled with PAIN drs appt. Er visits and ect. We have been to second opinion after second opinion and nobody can figure out what's wrong. I have ended up with dr. Campbell at Alfred I. Dupont's hospital for children in Delaware. I live in Maryland so it's about a three hour hike. They have done every test IMaginable from blood work MRIs spinal taps and much more. The er's objective is to get my pain to a tolerable level so they give me fluids dilated(spelling?) torridal(spelling?) and something I can't remember the name of. Then the give me a ct scan to make sure I'm not bleeding in my brain. They don't try to figure out what's wrong they just try to take down my pain. I called dr Campbell Monday and I think he's on to something so I'll fill u in in about a month to confirm it. Thank you guys so much!

oh no!! i remember you saying your recovery went so well and you were feeling so great. im so sorry this is going on. what brought it on? did you do something physical in the days prior? did they do any testing while you were admitted? definately take it serious and do some follow up with someone who is specialized with this stuff. poor you :(
let me know whats going on......thinking of you.

I am sorry that you're not doing well. I am 14 months post op and had a horrible headache about a 10 days ago that had me in tears.
I know you were doing really well and because you felt so great you were stating to be more active, I was the same way. But I sometimes have to slow down and take some time, and remind myself that I had brain surgery. I hope there is nothing seriously wrong that a few good days of rest won't help.
I hope everything is okay and that you start to feel better very soon!!
Molly...I would agree with Wolf..maybe it is a good idea to try and get a 2nd opinion? Did they give you any idea at the hospital what could be causing all the pain still?
With pain like that, your body is signalling you that something is not right!! So they should be investigating and taking you very seriously.
I am so sorry that you are dealing with this level of pain after already being through surgery!! But don't give up, you need to find the answers on why this is happening. I pray that you find some relief soon!

Molly- thats really awful you feel so badly, but what testing did they do? Id suggest having a CT scan or an MRI to make sure everything is OK in there..
Iam with Wolf on the 2nd opinion.

I am sorry to hear you are still suffering so.
Molly, this is a shot in the dark. But no NS is perfect, have you considered getting second opinion from another repuatable NS as to why you still have such severe symptoms?
Wolf
Hi Molly,
Sorry you are having to suffer so much. You are in my thoughts. Hope someone figures out what is going on.

What did the drs at the hospital say was causing the problem...and what did they offer to help with the pain?
