Considering Surgery for chiari. How long is recovery?

  I want to invite u to read some journals members along with myself have posted on our surgical experience...it may help u understand just how different we all are and what some do go thru, as it is diff to say...we all will have a diff experience even if we were to have the same Dr.....

I'm not sure anyone can answer this question with any authority.  I was mis-Dxd for many years, but still, with a skilled surgeon (& despite a lot of stress), I feel much better 6 months post op.  Some people go back to work; others are disabled indefinitely.
Many of us have been told 1-2 years to determine full recovery.
