2 year old constantly hungry and won't sleep

I have a two year old who use to be a picky eater.  Over the last few weeks he's constantly eating and is never tired.  I know in a growth spurt they eat a lot but I thought they were also suppose to sleep a lot!  I'm just wondering if there's something seriously wrong because he keeps coming out of his room at all hours of the night to say he's hungry.  Am I just worrying too much or is there a hidden problem here?  If anyone can help me please do!

He is probably coming into the room at night to get you up and get attention, he probably isnt hungry, its a ploy as they know we Moms hate to hear they are hungry and I bet you feed him, so dont feed him in the night,he doesnt need it and it'll become a habit and we know how hard they are to break, Make sure his lkast meal has plenty of bulk and he has enough, then when he comes and says hes hungry ignore it, put him back to bed and say Food in the morning.Make sure he also gets positive attention during the day , reading, activities and Fun.
