My child is 3 years old and still hasnt slept through the night for more that 6 hours.
she cant sleep in a cot as she cries, and has to sleep on a matress, on the floor.

What happens during the day is she at home with you or is she in day care and how many hours there could be many reasons for this , does she nap during the day, has she any siblings, a bed is best at her agenot a crib, and if she wants to sleep on the floor if she is on a comfortable mattress thats okay, something is upsetting her check out what is happening and you will find an answer.
