Child has no friends

my child has no friends whatsoever, right from being a little girl she made friends easily but could not keep them, now as she gets older nearly 14 not only can she not make friends ! she makes enemies,bullying comes to mind ! but thats not strictly true . my daughter is ignored totally , everyone knows her , she speaks to them all and they act as though she does not exist, so she interfeers in their conversations and bickers and shouts and swears at them till they lose their tempers and react,we have had all sorts of proffesional help and counciling but her isolation gets deeper all the time , we are her constant companions , her only source of entertainment, she is very immature and makes no effort ( to grow up ) take her to girl guides, after school clubs etc and she latches on to the adults and we have been requested to stop atending in the nicest possible way.

What are her hobbies?  And why does everyone automatically assume some variation of Autism.  Do you guys know how rare that stuff is?

The other people probably dont bother with her because she does shout and bickers and butts into their conversations, perhaps this is the area to help her in, some social" graces, and possibly as you say you are her own source of entertainment she has come to rely on that, maybe time to back off a bit and let her find her own common ground. she is latching on to the adults because that is what she is used to doing being with you. So when she goes to clubs and guides is there a way she can gain more independance an go alone.I understand your concern and care perhaps it needs you to let her make her own way.

Have you had her assessed for asbergers syndrome? What does she enjoy doing?
