Child with Turners Syndrome.

I have a 4 yr old granddaughter with Turners Syndrome. She is in Pre-K and loves school. The only problem we have is she wont stop talking at rest time. She doesn't have to sleep just be quite so the others can sleep. We have tried rewards, removing privileges, cause and effect, having to lay down after school at home. Nothing is working. Is this possibly related to Turners Syndrome?

I would advise you to consult with your daughter's pediatrician about this behavior as it could be related.

It could be.  If you google "Turner's Syndrome" and "talkative",  they do seem to go together.

The good news is,  after kindergarten she will never again be forced to nap in groups.  ;D   Lots of kids struggle with this - I really don't know why they don't have areas for kids who can't sleep and areas for kids who really need that mid-day break and appreciate a chance to nap.

At any rate,  this too shall end.
