Childrens Health

I have a 5 year old son who had a birthday a month ago.  He has a chromosome defficieny called digeorge syndrome.  He is 30 pounds.  Doesn't gain very well and is very picky.  I pack his preschool lunch only 1 time in the last 2 months it came home completely empty.  I don't pack him very much.  protein, crunchy snack, fruit, carb(macaroni-pasta-)  He may eat some of the macoroni but not all.  It's an effort to get him to eat breakfast these days.  We need to be on a tight schedule because of school.  His doctor said she's not concerned because he is growning at his own rate.  He eats good food.  But He hardly has typical hunger pains.  We go out to eat alot but not anymore as we are now in debt again.  I know you will say carnation and peiasure but they will not work for him maybe carnation but it's epensive all the time and it will not put on weght.  How should I respond.
thank you

Most children need time to eat their breakfast they do not like being rushed it is an important meal for him to eat, cereal /yoghort /fruit is good. set the clock earler so he has time to eat his food. I think a whole meal brown sandwich or roll  is nourishing for lunch  maybe some cheese or tuna in it , crackers, apple, banana...evening meal...rice and veg, spaghetti and meatballs .fish sticks and a few french fries , chicken nuggetts , bowl of thick soup, with bread, especially in winter, so warming ...Many economical stores out there now with everyone feeling the pinch,Good Luck .
