Daughter likes to be a boy

Yes, I have a daughter that is 5 years old. Ever since I can remember she wants to be a boy. She wants her hair cut like a boy, and loves to wear boy clothes. If I would let her she would wear boys underwear. She loves Spiderman and Transformers. All her toys are boy action figures. At school she hangs around boys. They even exchange toys. She wants nothing to do with any girl items. Last summer she cried when I put her in a girl bathing suit. She idols her 12 year old brother. Whatever he wears she has to match it. I have tried tea parties, nail painting etc. Sometimes she tells me she has a penis growing! At first I thought this would be a thing she is going to grow out of, now I am getting worried. I watched a show on Transgender and it sounds just like her. Is this pretty normal for this age?

Hello, my 4 year old daughter is doing this too and has been saying she is a boy since she was 2.5 yo. I am wondering if anything came of this or if you still have a daughter? Many thanks.
