My 6 year old CP child laughs when disciplined

My daughter has spastic diplegic CP and has cognitive delays, as well.  Most of the time she is disciplined, either verbal or physical, she laughs.  In addition, she laughs when others are disciplined, as well!  My husband and I have always been upset by this, but now she is behaving the same way at school to teachers, and they are about to lose their minds!  They are now sending her to the principal's office.  It is very disrespectful, but on the other hand, I am wondering if it is a nervous reaction or part of her neurological issues?  Our other children have never behaved this way.  No seizures or meds.  Any insight would be great!  Thanks!

I can not help wonderting why laughing would cause a Teacher to lose their mind?if this is simply a nervous reaction on her part to being "Disciplined' why dont they ignore it sounds like you are all feeding into it, let it alone and maybe it will go a way, and have everyone focus on positive things and having some Fun with her.
