My 8yr old  daughter saw pictures I was sending to my husband in private (naked & wearing a strap-on dildo). When I took her tablet, that was when I noticed she had gotten the pictures and she had taken pictures in her older sister’s bra, trying to be sexy.  I am mortified that she saw my pictures and my husband & I are trying to figure out how to tell her that taking pictures like that is not appropriate but have no idea on how to explain to her about me wearing a strap on, taking pictures naked. Please, I need some advice...

Tell her you don’t take pictures naked or in underwear. Tell her what mommy and daddy is your guy’s businesses and nobody else’s.

Minimize it.  How did she know it was supposed to be 'sexy'?  I know I don't think pictures of other women with a strap on are sexy.  I'd think it was weird if I were a child and not know I was being overtly sexual to the receiver of the pictures.  Tell her you got confused and that we do not take pictures in our underwear.  And we do not touch other people's undergarments.  Move on.  She shouldn't know the phrase 'strap on' or what exactly she was seeing so minimize it.  I think I walked in on my parents having sex.  It was gross and I wish I hadn't.  But you know, life goes on. She's too young to really think super sexual thoughts from the images.
