My two year grand daughter

I am concerned about they two year grand daughter.  She is not talking at all.  No words.  She takes you by the hand to lead you to what she wants.  She has started to cry and whine more.  She does not listen or take direction very well.  I at first thought she was deaf however I see her respond to the TV.  She comes running if she hears one of her favorite shows.  She does not like cartoons very much but she loves Icarly - could watch it for hours.  She seems to be delayed in her development - I have seen other kids her age and younger that are talking and holding conversations.  She runs alot and seems to be always busy doing something.  thanks

I agree with AnnieBrooke - she really requires an evaluation.  If there is a learning or developmental issue; the earlier the treatment, the better the prognosis.  Time is ticking ....

She should be evaluated.  Who is in charge of the child's medical situation?  Has she had her two-year exam yet?  I'm surprised the pediatrician would have overlooked this.
