Sleep Terrors

I think my son is having night terrors but he has only just turned 1 and has been waking up in his sleep screaming and crying without opening in eyes for a couple of months on and off. When I wake him up, if I can, he acts like nothing had happened and goes back to sleep. Is this night terrors and is he too young to be having night terrors??

Call your pediatrician to find out if this is too young.  Night terrors are normally caused by a lack of sleep, so make sure your little one is getting plenty of sleep during the day.
This does sound like a night terror, but call you pedi and make sure.

My son too. But My guy opens his eyes and sits up in his crib. My guy will go right back to sleep when we get him and give him a bottle. I'm asking my pedi when he has his 1yr check-up but I think it's his teeth and bad dreams. It doesn't happen every night but at least 2xs a wk. I went through this with my oldest daughter and it's funny because my youngest his personality is alot like hers they are both very headstrong and independant my other 2 are very cuddly and loving! I would as I'am mention it to his dr. I hope this phase ends soon ! Take care....
