Why does my toddler keeps laying on my stomach?

I have a 4 year old daughter and all of a sudden she wants to lay her head on my tummy and wants to be picked up a lot i have been suspecting im pregnant but not sure can this be why or is it something else?

Have you mentioned to your daughter.... or has she overheard you talking about being pregnant?

No... Not that i know of..

So, it might be something else.   Being picked up and placing her head on your tummy is very comforting.  There may be some thing going on that is bothering her.

you might want to check out this book which is aimed at kids of her age and helps them to express concerns.  Its called, "when I feel worried" and can be found here....along with other good books aimed at his age group.
