you need to relax, what are you the owner of this site. You are rude wherever you post, not matter the situation. You coul dhave easily said that on another board someone could help her but to jump down her throat.. geesh take a chill pill
Very good point. What is that PhD in anyway?
He's a phd doctor, not an md!
Totally inappropriate to post this question here.
because it is monitored by an md and I wanted a dr's opinion. the women's and maternal forums do not have dr's.
and by the way I am definitely not pregnant.
Why are you asking this on the Child Behavior Forum?
Yes, there is a possibility of pregnancy. You must take the morning after pill within 48-72 hours of unprotected intercourse, so it sounds like it's too late for that. You should consult your gyn now for instructions regarding what to do, but use a back up method every time now until you hear from your doctor.
and if there is some risk, do I need to take the morning after pill?
I cannot address your question with authority because it is otside the scope of this Forum (which focuses on matters of chldhood and adolescent social, emotional, cognitive and behavioral functioning/development).
What I can offer you is this: Some bleeding does not represent a period, and it is possible for a woman to ovulate during bleeding, so the main issue to address is whether the bleeding actually represents a period. If it does, the chance of pregnancy resulting is remote. This is particularly true if a woman has very regular cycles. Also, for some women, a very fertile time is toward the end of their period.
Be sure to confer with your health care providers, and if you are concerned about possible pregnancy be sure to be tested.
