Spina Bifida and Acupuncture

Hello, Is acupunture can help to reduce pain caused by spina bifida? I have spina bifida occulta and its effect such as scholiosis, weak knee (I can fall easily on my knee, its like my patela slips and it makes me can't walk for a month or more), migrain, and pain on my hip and shoulder continously. I have done many fisiotherapies as I noticed it when I was child (I am now 30) and seen many doctors. None of them suggest me for surgery and I am happy to hear that as there is no obvious abnormality on me except the effects of spina bifida I mention above. I met an acupunturist who is a Phd from Beijing and she told me that the pain can be cured. The fisiotherapy does reduces the frequency of my falling but not the pain on my hip, shoulder and sometimes few parts of my backs. In addition my migrain frequency increases. Acupuncture is a new thing for me as all this time I deal with doctors and fisiotherapy. So, if it is worthy to try acupuncture then I will go for it. Please your advice. Thanks
