Visits near end of pregnancy

I have been visiting my chiropractor throughout my pregnancy, but I am now in my last 5 weeks & he been having me come in every 2 weeks for the past month. I know I am not to lay on my back, as it can deprive the baby if oxygen. During my visits he has me lay flat on my back. Then places his hands under the back of my pelvis & pushes up. I am there for a minute or two & it can get difficult to breath since baby is encroaching on my lungs. Is this safe for baby this late in pregnancy, or should I ask him to adjust me differently, say with the table tilted to 45 degrees or more toward standing.
I am nearly 39 & worry more about this baby's health due to my age
Thank you for any advice

Thank you for your response. Do I have a valid concern about blood flow/oxygen to baby if on my back for 2-3 minutes?

There's no shame in asking your chiropractor to modify the way he's adjusting you. If you're uncomfortable or can't breathe in a certain position -- tell him. He/she will most certainly adapt.
