This is important to do in your case. Work with your doctor on the best ways to do this. Losing weight is essential most of the time and doctors supervision is important for that. Metabolic syndrome is normally a result of being overweight and inactive. Both of those are often within our control to make better. I'm so glad to hear that you are working on this. if you smoke, please quit. That is very important. Lose weight through proper diet choices, portion control and getting 30 minutes of physical activity daily (if your doctor approves you to do this). Also, try to manage your stress.
