Hello and welcome to the forum. This is an excellent question.  Cholesterol is impacted in a positive way when someone does activities that raise their HDL or things that help them lose or maintain the ideal weight. Weight lifting can do both. This article has more in depth information for exercise and lowering cholesterol.  https://www.webmd.com/cholesterol-management/features/exercises-to-control-your-cholesterol#1  We do recommend speaking to your doctor before undergoing any diet or exercise program.
