Hello and welcome to the forum. Exercise is known to help improve cholesterol.  Walking is a suitable form of exercise although you should consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program. Exercise will increase HDL or good cholesterol which balances out total cholesterol and counteracts LDL or bad cholesterol.  Exercise also helps keep weight down which improves cardiovascular health.  Here is more information. https://www.webmd.com/cholesterol-management/features/exercise-to-lower-cholesterol#1
