stage four kidney disease / euthanize? Why!
as long as there is a God in heaven above I will not euthanize my dog!
maybe I got too close to my buddy/best friend Feller but I will not put him to sleep. Would you euthanize your child, what's the difference! this form has been a tremendous help to me in coping with this dreadful disease. The one in twenty dogs who miraculously pull through has kept me from putting my dog to sleep. I know the end is comingbut I also know it's not my job to do what someone way more powerful than me does for a living. those of you that feel guilty maybe have a reason to. Sorry

Hi. Others have said some things you need to take on board. All I want to say is, to be a member of this User Group you must abide by the rules. This includes being unjudgemental towards other members. We are a supportive group - NOT a judgemental one. You can offer rational opinions and advice, but these should not merely be reflective of a particular religious belief or faith.

Not intending to offend anyone and yet saying that those of us feeling guilty have a reason too.... Just go away. You have no idea the hell that some of us have lived through. i will not justify anything to you as you can obviously not understand what it is to truly love your pet more than yourself.
Well said. To all the other members of this forum, please don't take johnyf's comments to heart. Be confident in your decision knowing it was the most unselfish act you have done.
As DogBlog said, your posting doesn't deserve a response, but, it is obvious that you are technically a 'Pet Owner' and NOT a 'Pet Lover'. Theres a lot of heartache and shattered nerves that visit this site, and make no mistake about it concerning your comment concerning 'Guilt', ....you are one cold hearted S*$ and I feel sorry for your companion. You shouldn't even have pets, except for maybe a fireant on a leash.
I'm not judging anyone. I just don't understand how some go on and on about how much they love there dog and then when it's suffering they put it down. I'd rather not have and do not wish any suffering on any creation of the Lord's but that's how it works. My pet is not a throw away item and neither are my two children. Sorry if l offended anyone with this post. Not my intention at all. I just wanted to express my feelings. I believe that If ya ain't in it for the long haul then you should stay out.
