Advice pls/Have COPD and taking rheumatoid arthritis tablets

Hi

My mother has copd and we are quite worried as she has recently started taking tablets for her rheumatoid arthritis, the tablets pretty much disable her immune system as its an suto immune illness.

She regularly removes flem and saliva from her chest/lungs. And avoids going out to avoid catching any kind of flus or colds as she gets chest infections easily which makes the scaring in her lungs spread.

Now shes started these medications for rheumatoid arthritis, she is worried it will make her copd worse and faster as her immune system is compromised. Is there any advice on this?

Thanks in advanced
