Chronic leg pain/sunburn

I'm a 18 year old female and I went to the beach yesturday, for a walk and didn't put sunscreen on (sadly) and have sun burn on my arms and legs, there is no blistering... and as far as a can tell little swelling.
But when I woke up this morning I went to get out of bed, and when I went to walk I felt the most horrible pains in mostly my lower legs (knee and bellow) the pain was so bad a could barely walk and it will often bring me to tears. When I push through the pain and continue to walk, it slowly goes away, and a can wlak normal, but the moment I stand still, the pain begins to start again, and when I sit down, and get up later, it's just like when I first got out of bed, chronic pain.

I'm veyr scared and I need to know if I should be.
Please, pelase help me.

Strange.  Are you caucasian, or black?  Do you have any medical or psychiatric illnesses that you are aware of?  I cannot imagine pain in skin receptor being severe enough to cause this much pain.  But how could a sunburn affect the muscles to such a degree?  During a sunburn the blood flow to the skin increases dramatically.  Could that leave just enough blood flow for the legs to aggravate some muscle condition;  could the diversion of oxygen to the skin of the legs result in a lack of oxygen in the muscle, causing sickel cell crisis to occur?

I will keep thinking about this one-- Please let me know if you find the cause.

I was @ bay yesterday, n didn't apply sunscreen. I'm now experiencing the exact same symptoms/excrutiating pain in leg calves. I believe its associated with sunburn, I have little swelling tho, but pain when trying to walk or stand, it eventually wears off until I'm still n begin to move again. My question is, how long does this type of pain last?

I'm caucasion. I don't have any medical or phychiatric illnesses that I'm aware of.
I've applied alot of aloe vera and antiseptic sunburn sprays to it, aswell as took alot of cold showers, when the pain and the heat on my legs was geting too bad, and I also kept my fluids up (as suggested somewhere else).

It seems to have significantly gotten alot better, now but if I stand up for more than maybe 30 seconds, the pain begins to start again, but not nearly the amount of pain I was in before, much less.
I read on alot of other forums, very simular pain associated with sever sunburn on the legs and it seems in most cases it just goes away after 2-5 days. In most cases though, other people had alot of swelling, but I had very little to none.

I think I'm be fine now, as weird as all this was :P
Thank you very much for looking at and considering this :)
