Does anyone else experience this?

I’ve been diagnosed with acute liver and kidney failure. I have made almost a full recovery despite what the doctors had predicted. My only issue is no matter what I do my stomach always seems to never be able to get back to normal. I’m on diuretics and no longer need paracentesis done. I live a very healthy lifestyle and exercise daily. I’m not overweight but no matter what I do my stomach just seems to be “flabby” and get bigger throughout the day. Just curious if anyone else has this issue?

What has your gastroenterologist said? Are you limiting salt? Are you overweight? Does the swollen stomach resolve on its own and return?

I’m not overweight. Sodium intake i keep a very close eye on. Whenever i ask my doc he just says “well you’re tiny either way”’ or doesn’t really seem to give me any other direct answer. In the morning the stomach goes back to normal it’s just throughout the day it slowly gets worse
Are you seeing a gastroenterologist? A GP isn’t really equipped to follow a complicated case like yours. If you are seeing a specialist I would consider getting a second opinion.
What was the cause of your liver failure if I may ask?
