Tablet medication for Liver cirrhosis patients who has diabetes Type2
Hi..my mum has liver cirrhosis for the past 30 years and she also has Diabetes Type 2. Our Local MO has recommended Galvus 50mg for diabetes medication. However, after further reading on the net I found that Galvus 50mg is not for liver patients.. the problem is I can't seem to find any suitable medication for her diabetes which would NOT effect her liver condition. I welcome any suggestion or recommendation from members and medical practitioners here please..thank so much

You should work with her doctors and ask about this even if a medicine shows it has posdiblevliver related side effects it may still be the best option. Especially check with her hepatologist.
