Does high ALT raise blood sugar?

My ALT consistently came out higher than normal range, 57 and 73 to be precise with normal range upto 55. My blood sugar of fasting and after breakfast also came out above normal range and I am not diabetic. My question is that can high ALT cause blood sugar to rise?

No two they are separate biological functions. Why is your ALT elevated? Are you obese with a BMI more than 30?

Being overweight can cause fatty liver disease and separately contribute to early diabeties. Have you had your A1C checked? How are you sure you aren’t beginning to develop diabetes?
