Gallbladder stones and cirhoss

My husband has small stones in his Gallbladder. He was told it could be dangerous, but doctors didn't recommend operation because his condition with cirhoss. He has all possible complications, low platelets, low leukocytes, varices...but he lives as healthy as possible now. Lately he heard about magnesium sulfate witch can eliminate stones in gallbladder by melting them and going out through feces.. Has anyone have some experience, or opinion about this method in this situation? Thanks again..

I had gall stones and after a while I ended up having some gallbladder attacks so I had my gallbladder removed back in 2012.

I recommend you ask his doctor about all meds he is taking or thinking about taking. Cirrhosis is a serious medical condition so you shouldn’t be taking anything without his doctors approval.

I did a quick search about magnesium sulfate and saw there is no evidence to support the use of magnesium sulfate to treat gallstones and in fact it could be dangerous especially for those with liver disease.

Always ask his doctor. His medical situation is complex there are no easy fixes no magic pills.
