One ear feels blocked. Have a cold, what do I do - Age 36, Male

I have been having a cold since Thursday with a lot of coughing and while the feverish feeling is gone, I am still coughing and today morning my right ear feels blocked and very weird. I was wondering is this very serious and what can I do to remove the blockade on the right ear?

I hate the feeling. First, take something that thins mucous like Mucinex. Works well, helps keep the gunk flowing. Second, You can do a little Eastern medicine trick. Use your finger tips and start at around the bottom of your ear and drag down on both sides. It helps open up those passages.  Last, reverse ear pops if you need which is hold nose, give a gentle blow. Your ear will pop. Hope you are feeling better.
