Regular colds

I have been getting colds about once a month since the end of Oct, they involve blocked nose, sore throat etc. Each time I get one I also get a bad cough where I bring up green phelgm, I have been on anti-biotics twice and steriods once (asthma) as they have gone into infections. Even when I stop coughing the green phelgm (after a week or so), I do continue coughing white phlegm for about another week. While the other times, the docs say it's just a common cold (I really can't tell the difference) however I keep having to have time off work, the cough is so bad I am sometimes sick with it. Anyone got any ideas?

I realize how worry you are about your constant upper respiratory infections. Surely there is a need to have a complete evaluation done by a physician and also lab work. It also depend that where you work if you work in a closed place, depending on how your immune system is at the moment you can easily have been re infected with viruses or bacteria that may have caused your upper respiratory infections.

try using the netty pot that doctor oz recommends.  It is suppose to help alot. Its a salt water rinse for your nasal passages.
