Why do I keep occasionally have a light cough?

After I recovered from sick, my cough just don't go away. It does, but it comes back occasionally, not often like patients.

I may cough once every 30 minutes or 1 hour. (something like that)

Before I was sick, this won't happen unless it's a symptom of sick.
