Was it a stomach virus

There seems to be a stomach bug going around our house. I experienced fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, and very bad indigestion. Yesterday when symptoms started, I took zofran. I have emetophobia. I have since taken two more zofran and Pepto. No vomiting or diarrhea, but I did wake up with a bad headache. I haven’t eaten a lot lately. Does this mean I will be sick for a longer period of time? How will the virus shed?

Viral gastroenteritis is an intestinal disease set apart by watery the runs, stomach spasms, sickness or retching, and once in a while fever. The most widely recognized approach to create viral gastroenteritis — frequently called stomach influenza — is through contact with a tainted individual or by ingesting debased nourishment or water.

I agree if anything drunk lots of water. That should help.

So, it could be the stomach virus.  You're still sick even if you inhibit vomiting.  Glad that worked for you!  The other possibility is that perhaps you had a touch of food poisoning but with your house having a stomach virus, likely you did as well and while the meds you took (don't take someone else's meds, take only what is prescribed by a doctor for you personally)--- stopped vomiting, it doesn't mean you didn't have the virus and other effects of it.  good luck and are you better now?
