Colitis

I have been diagonised as having colitis (amoebic) only from the stool test.  The urine is clear.  I have also done gyn scans which are all clear.  I get very severe pains duirng periods for the last several years - unfortunately I assumed it was period pains. (must take at least 3 cataflams a day to function normally). These pains are normally in my sides mostly left side but I am unable to identify a particular area - the best descripton is left side (inside somewhere) not a localised pain.

The doctors are unable to answer why I do get ameobic "colitis" pain only during periods.

Can you please help.

Pat

Dear doc, wouldnt endometriosis show on the scan?

How do I prepare and what questions do i ask.  Problem is these days doctors do not have much time.

Hi,
It could be due to endometriosis.
Discuss with your doctor about this possibility.
