Parasite Cleanse

Hello Everyone,

I suffer from eosinophilia and I've been told that it is often caused by parasites. I've seen parasites in my stool a few times, but the 5 stool tests I've had so far all came back negative, so traditional medicine doesn't seem to help.

I'm looking for a safe/non-toxic parasite cleanse that is also cranberry and laxative free (I'm allergic to cranberries). I have a strong preference for capsule cleanses.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Eclectic Institute Intestinal Support doesn't contain any laxatives, just anti-parasitic herbs.  Herb Pharm makes a good tincture, but it's not a capsule.  You can find what you're looking for.  I believe you looked at the Eclectic Institute tincture, not this product, but good luck whatever you choose to do.

Thank you for your responses. Unfortunately, I think Eclectic Institute contains laxatives so I probably won't be able to use it :(.

I would love to take the parasites to a specialist for identification if I could, but the problem is that I don't see them very often and digging through my stool looking for parasites really grosses me out so I don't really do that. I was so grossed out the first time I saw a parasite in my stool that I accidentally flushed it away without thinking.

I'm thinking of trying SCRAM (http://****.com/cleansing-detoxification/scram) it seems to be a laxative free parasite cleanse. Has anyone tried it?

If you have seen them in the stool, they should be removed and taken to a specialist for identification. Certain varieties will migrate through the body tissues and end up in places like the human brain. There is risk-benefit in conventional treatments, but there is mortality associated with many parasitic infections. I have one that migrated into my eyeball, for example, while I was in Vietnam. It lies there dead (quite visible), but is a source of amusement when I get my eye examinations.

First, parasite cleanses are always toxic -- to the parasites, if the cleanse works.  So you are using toxic substances or it can't kill the parasites or drive them out of the body, more accurately.  Cranberry isn't used for parasites.  Laxatives aren't necessary either, but often cleanses will come with two parts:  the part that drives parasites out or kills them, and something high in fiber (the laxative part) that gets them out of the system.  Most herb companies make an anti-parasite blend.  One good company that makes one in capsule form is Eclectic Institute, but you can find others too in a good health food store.  The herbs you find in these are generally black walnut hulls, clove, and wormwood as the primary herbs.  Can't tell you anything about your theory.
