Can vitamin k be used to help clot blood when bleeding for a long tym..nd hw long must it b used,dats it hv any effect wen used for a long,shd der b a prolong bleeding wen u are in ur period

Vitamin K should never be used as a supplement except on the order of a physician, or  as a constituent of an ordinary vitamin pill. If you have a problem with bleeding, lab tests for clotting and a consult with a hematologist is in order.

It doesn't work that way.  And it's only necessary when you don't have enough.  Have you been tested for clotting factors, or are you just trying to shorten your period?
