   It could be a # of causes and conditions...In the arm pit is some of the lymph node system...that is part of the immune system...Have you had any exposures to chemicals as that can throw off the immune system greatly....Did you change deodorants, perfumes, soaps or detergents and softners as that would confirm more of an allergic type reaction? Now the next possibilities are very serious....were there moles or skin tags there prior and is it those that have changed or is this just out of the blue....how was your health before....sometimes our lymph system fills up with crap as our body cleans itself and the lymph system gets stuck here or there, that is why some people get a leg the size of an overweight stomach...now the last thing I will mention is of course the "C" word, as the symptoms you speak of can show in this manner...Although you posted in this forum I do think you should see  either your pc, a dermatologist or oncologist and by the way....do you have any other symptoms.
