Small Fiber Neuropathy

Very LONG story but almost 2 years ago I was hit with a virus and since then have been battling
what appears to be either Post Viral Neuropathy or Small Fiber Neuropathy or both..
I have been on Tramadol, Neurontin and Combunox, plus have had Epidural Steroid injections.
And with all the other medical issues I am dealing with, I now have terrible pain in my teeth..
Extreme sensitivity to hot/cold and sometimes they just ache with nothing in my mouth...
I just had a check-up and x-rays and nothing wrong .The Dentist knows nothing about the drugs Im taking or
Neuropathy...My question is, did the Small Fiber Neuropathy get in my teeth and if so, how do I get
it out of there, or is it one of these drugs?  I read somewhere that Neurontin can do this..
Any thoughts or advice here?
Thank you in advance!

Assuming you are referring to post herpetic neuralgia. If your prescribed medicatios are not effective, other medications such as tricyclic antidepressant(amitryptyline) or nutritional supplement  alpha-lipoic acid may be worth a try.So far, there is no single medication which is proven 100% effective against postherpetic neuralgia.Seeing an orofacial pain specialist or neurologist is advised.
