What does this heart mri comment mean?

large region of delayed gadolinium enhancement in the inferior and inferoseptal wall corresponding to area of the akinesis on cine imaging. This has increased in size since prior examination now measuring long axis of up to 4.8 cm (previously 3.2 cm). There has also been extension into the mid wall where this was predominantly subendocardial on prior examination. There is a region of transmural extension at the level of the base.
This is of low probability of retained viability in this region.

So, I am not an expert but have read a lot, want to preface that.  Talk to your doctor for the meaning of these results, obviously.  But the first sentence talks about gadolinium enhancement which is a diagnostic test and cine imaging is a type of imaging. In my interpretation of that first sentence, they see an area in one test that corresponds to imaging of lack of wall movement or flexibility (akinesia). This is on the inferior and inferoseptal wall of your heart and remember the heart is a muscle. The area is getting bigger and extending into the mid wall as well. And the area may become unviable. Yes, this would concern me. Do you have cardiomyopathy? I'm assuming congestive heart failure as well? May I ask your age?  And when do you follow up with your doctor. Please know that again, I am not an expert and am picking out the words I know from this.  You need to get your info from your doctor. Please let me know what they say!
