cheekbone damage fixed with implants?

Hello  I am a 36 year old woman. When I was 19 I was badly assaulted by a male roomate. I sustained several hits to the face. My face was very swollen and i had 2 black eyes. I went to the emergency room. Now the dr never said anything about fractured or broken cheekbones and gave me some ibuprofen and told me to use ice on the swelling.  Before this assault I had very high and prominent cheekbones. Once the swelling went down weeks later. I noticed that both sides didn't seem as prominent. One side was worse than the other. This bothered me for many years but since the bones weren't broken or fractured I thought there was nothing I could do.lately I was thinking about cheek implants and I mean the permanent ones not the fillers. could this give me back the look I once had. My cheekbones looked just like the model Iekeliene Stange's and I would love to get this look back.

Would fat grafting give the prominent cheekbone look? I thought that would make my cheeks look pudgy and less defined. I would think something that would be hard like bone like an implant that would go on the bone. Is it possible I suffered a fracture? I don't get why they would be less prominent after the assault. When I feel the cheekbones on my face one side definitely feels flatter and less prominent than the other. The right side being the less prominent. My sister noticed this as well and commented the right side didn't look as prominent. Right now I am overweight and if anything I want to lose the fat on my cheeks so they stick out more. I am oging to see a plastic surgeon in Boston to see what would give the look I want.

Cheek implants are an possible, although achieving symmetry may be difficult. An alternative could be fat grafting.  If the fat survives, I find that it achieves a very natural result that is permanent.  You obvious need to consult with a local plastic surgeon.
