Life style lift

Hello,

What is a life style lift procedure?
I am in my late 40's and my facial feature is some what getting  looser than I would have liked it to be and the lines in the nasal area  are pretty much noticeable. I heard about the Lifestyle Lift on television (an ad) and thinking of going for a consultation. I do not want the traditional face lift ~it is not for me I want to go for a low risk face lift (I hear this is a new technique )

Your input/knowledge in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The so-called "Lifestyle Lift" is a proprietary term used by a consortium of otolarygologists for a facelift.  Don't be deceived that this procedure is any more effective or less risky than any other facelift procedure.  As a Board Certified plastic surgeon, I based the technique I use for each patient on the minimum amount of surgery required to achieve the result that each patient desires.  It is never the same technique for each patient.  I have "re-done" several so called "Lifestyle Lifts" in patients who were not satisfied with the results of that procedure.  They have therefore paid for their original surgery as well as the procedure that I had to revise.   Several patients I have seen in consultation have also commented about high pressure sales tactics.

I am 50 and had the Lifestyle Lift about 6 months ago.  In addition to some asymmetry and a little bit of a pulled look - one ear lobe needs revision in front and below where there is a visible scar.  Behind both ears I still have puckering - normally I wear my hair very short - have had to grow it longer to cover these areas.  I would think twice about getting the Lifestyle Lift.  It also takes longer to heal than what they insinuate in their promotions.  If you do proceed - I suggest requesting one of their board certified plastic surgeons.
