Crohns flare with negative colonoscopy?

24 year old daughter diagnosed with Crohns / possible autoimmune overlap / lupus-type disease.  Currently on Humira (2years) and plaquenil, pamelor, corgard, topomax.

Past colonoscopies showed patchy areas of inflammation, ulcers....hence the crohn's diagnosis. Progressed from sulphasalazine to asacol to Humira.

Currently In the middle of a 5-week bout of gross blood  in stool, along with joint pain, ulcers in nose,  and extreme fatigue and feeling unwell.  Colonoscopy and upper endoscopy were normal so source of bleeding is evasive.  This has happened before, had CT scans and barium studies in prior years that really didnt show much.  Blood work normal, sed rate normal, crp. Normal, not anemic.  Do not have diarrhea, never really have.  Just blood there when I do go once or twice a day and feel extremely horrible and unable to function.

I'm at a loss.

If everything else is fine then blood in stool can be due to hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal infection, and dysentery. Please get stool examined for infection. Also, hemorrhoids should be looked into. If al this is ruled out then it can be a flare of Crohn’s which may at times go undetected on colonoscopies as the gut involved may be higher up.  Hope this helps. Take care!
