Had ileostomy due to Crohns in 2009!! Now have acute large pyloric ulcer

Endoscopy showed large pyloric ulcer at intersection of small intestine and stomach.  Bloating burping hurting now for over a month. Esophagus eroding.  Biopsy showed no cancer.  Acid reducers aren’t working. Really fatigued. Is it normal to be fatigued and still have this after a month

hello- I hope it's ok for us to answer too? If so,  i would also invest in a lot of pepto bismol to help coat the throat to reduce damage-  just to be extra cautious- as acid in throat can sometimes lead to cancer- which you no doubt know- The pepto will help soothe the stomach also- but it can be a bit hard to get used to taste- I had bleeding ulcer that came close to taking my life, and doc put me on acid reducer meds but also recommended i have a steady intake of the pepto to take throughout the day too- Acid meds like prilosec are long term, but you also need short term quick acting to help with the acid burn during the day

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry for a delay in answering.  How are you doing now?  Is this any better.  I absolutely recommend that you discuss this with your doctor. Which medications have you tried? If it is pyloric in nature, medication to kill the H. Pylori would be important and more so than acid reducers. Please give us an update and we'll go from there. https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/h-pylori-helicobacter-pylori#1
