Kp192- Yes, I remember you. Congrats on your pregnancy and graduating from IVF. We are both very blessed. Fortunately, I have not been sick at all. I'm tired, but that's about it. Oh, and I cry over commercials :) I hope your nausea ceases soon. Can't wait until we all cross that 12 week hurdle!

congrats!!!  That is so great that baby looked good!

HopfulCarm - I think we were in the same forum going through IVF and it really was so great to share everything we were going thru!  Congrats on your pregnancy!  I'm 9w 1d today so we must be due really close to each other!  How are you feeling?  I have been really nauseous the past couple weeks and taking medication to stop the vomiting but I still feel terrible all day.  I had my first appt. with the regular ob last week and it was so nice to have graduated from the infertility doctor!  Keep us updated on how you are doing!

Hi All! I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and conceived thru IVF. I was in a forum while trying to conceive, it was very helpful and active. I miss being able to log on and see how other women are doing during this miraculous process. I'm glad to have joined this group and look forward to being on the journey with all of you.

Note: I am pregnant with a singleton, last u/s was Friday, May 20th, measured 9 weeks with heartbeat of 173 bpm. I have my 1st trimester screening/genetic testing on June 13th. I am 36 years old and live in Miami.

Congrats on your twins!  I am so exhausted as well.  I was the same for my older two children but that was in my 20's and I think this pregnancy I have been more tired maybe because I'm in my 30's now?  I'm grateful for a flexible, relaxed schedule right now since I really only get one big thing done a day now (ex. - one day laundry, one day grocery shopping).  Luckily my 6 year old is almost done with school and I'm looking forward to long lazy summer days!  I'm also looking forward to the 2nd trimester hoping the fatigue lessens.  Also - that is so cool you have already felt one of the babies moving!

Before any miscarriage i had my two boys age 7 and 4. Then the first mc we went for a ultrasound when i should of been 9 weeks by my lmp but baby only measured 7 weeks. There was a heartbeat seen but not heard and then baby just stopped growing a 8w4d ish. Then the 2nd miscarriage was a blighted ovum so there never was a baby seen. Now the cycle before this pregnancy i had a chemical pregnancy. So im hoping that is what caused ovulation to be off because this baby has measured 8 days behind at both ultrasounds. I did have real bad nausea in the morning with super sore bbs but for the most part it has gone away. Ive had little tiny waves of nausea but nothing major, which also worries me. I am really tired and hungry though! I just pray all goes well tomorrow to put my mind at ease.

How are you feeling?  LOL! I tried to add that at the end but I had already hit submit so it didn't keep it.

With your first baby, did you have an u/s and found out there wasn't a baby?  And whether the answer is yes or no, did you have an u/s prior to that?  Did you ever see a heartbeat?  Why I'm asking is, with my miscarriages, we never saw a heartbeat with any of them.  My last Dr. and this one told me that after you see a heartbeat the miscarriage rate goes from 30-40% down to 3-4%!
And thanks for asking! I'm feeling fine, just starving all the time, I think I'm starting to get a little heartburn too :(  and I'm tired all the time, but I was with my two single babies too.  I have to make sure I get a nap with my toddler or I'm of no use in the evenings!

We need to come up with a way to get this group more active. Ive joined 3 december 2011 groups and none of them have much talking going on. As for me im going for another ultrasound on wednesday and im so nervous and scared. My last ultrasound was at 7w5d and everything looked perfect and for this one ill be 10 weeks. With our first mc baby died at 8w4d so i know that is not helping any but praying for the best!

mommom2- yay you must be so excited to feel baby! I know i would be if i was you. How are you feeling?

Hi girls!
Yeah, I stopped getting on here too because I would check everyday and nobody was posting anything new or answering anybody's questions.  but I thought I'd give it another shot tonight.  I already posted that I got to see both babies Thursday before last when I was 10 weeks, I'm 11 weeks and 4 days today and actually believe it or not, I have felt the top baby move around in there this past week!  The earliest I've felt a baby is 14 weeks so at first I was trying not to think that that's what it was but I've had two to term and that is definately baby moves I'm feeling!  It's always in the same spot so it just must be the baby on top, haven't felt the bottom baby yet.

Hey there everyone!

I am 9 weeks 2 days along :)  Due date of December 21, 2011.  I am hoping that I go earlier than that though.  My DD was 2 weeks early and my DS was 3 weeks early.  They don't think I can carry more than 7 pounds and that is why I have my kiddos early.  My DD was 6lbs 9oz and my DS was 6lbs 12.5oz :)

I was concerned yesterday because I had lost my pregnancy symptoms for about a week and called the doctor yesterday.  I never lost my symptoms this early before.  They had my come in for Fetal Heart Tones with the doplar.  I was concerned because I thought they had to wait until 11-12 weeks.

Well I went anyways and the doctor told me that he believed he had a 50/50 chance of hearing it and it took him awhile but lone behold there it was!  I started crying instantly and it was the most amazing sound ever :)  Heart rate was 155 bpm :)

All my symptoms came back today too :)  Silly little baby, just wanted to remind mommy that he/she is really actually there :)

Hope everyone is doing well!

Isn't it weird how reassuring those ultrasounds are!?!?  I had my last appointment with my fertility specialist yesterday and I really think a scan is the true remedy for nausea:)  My dr. even mentioned I'll go through u/s  withdrawal  since I have been used to weekly scans and now I will go to having a regular pregnancy!  I'm actually so happy about that since I have had so many appts. and procedures and blood draws in the past couple months I'm ready to sit back and chill out and try to enjoy this pregnancy!  I'm trying to remember if I had an u/s at 12 weeks with my older children but I don't think I did since I didn't do the nuchal test.  I think I just had one at 6 weeks because of spotting with both, 8 weeks, and then 20 weeks and then 36 weeks.  I think hearing the heartbeat is so reassuring too so hopefully you'll feel better when they use the doplar and listen to the heartbeat.  Hang in there!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope all is well with lil one in there as well. I will just have to wait till my 12 week scan to see if all is well. Of course thats if i get it because my doctor said something about my next scan being at 20 weeks!

Wow - that stinks about being in the er last night!  I hate the er - it takes so long for anything to happen there and is usually so uncomfortable!  I hope all is well with you and little one!

Well im glad we are talking some more in this group as well. As for me i was at the er last night after an incident in the store parking lot. Honestly it was a waste of time as they did not even do an ultrasound. I was so pissed after being there over 4hrs. Plus it added some more worry because my hCG quant was only 62,318. So i have to call my doctor in a few minutes to see if she wants to do anything. As for everyone else i hope all continues to go well with your pregnancy.

Hi ladies!
I'm so glad people are talking again:)  I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and go for my last appointment with my fertility doctor this afternoon.  I have 2 little girls 6 and 3 and this time around couldn't get pregnant after 2.5 years of trying finally did IVF.  It's been a long road of painful symptoms from a reaction I had to all the fertility meds but finally this week I am feeling like most of my symptoms are more normal pregnancy related. I have been really nauseous and throwing up but it seems a little different than my past 2 pregnancies so I'm wondering if this little one might be a boy?

To:  Moni21 - I too get nauseous in the car and I've found that rolling the window down a crack or having the air blowing on my face helps a lot also.  It is still a little chilly where I live so I've been making others in the car a little cold but it is better than throwing up in the car!!!  Good luck on your trip in a couple weeks!  I love Disneyland and Disney World and went when I was pregnant with my first.  You can still do tons of stuff while pregnant which is great!

Have a great day today everyone!

I had nausea for about a week but now I have nearly insatiable hunger. Uh oh:) I do think that the eating actually helps ward off the nausea though. A friend of mine swears by drinking ginger-ale and eating saltines. I do think having something in your stomach does help! Hope you enjoy your trip to Disneyland!

Well i dont have any issue with motion sickness but my friend does. What she has to do is sit in the front seat with the window down some. Also when we do hour or longer drives we have to make frequent stops. Funny part is i live across the street from disneyland...you will love the time with family.

I check this page often and it seems like it never changes. Its the same way with the other December group too.

Update: I'm doing good. Have a new symptom....I get nauseous while driving in a car, even if its a short ride. I literally work 5 minutes from my house but when I get to either destination I'm feeling like I'm going to vomit. My stomach feels awful. So here's the problem with this. In about 2 weeks we are going on vacation to Disneyland. We happen to be driving which will take about 7 hours. How am I supposed to handle that? Any suggestions?
