DDC NIPT does it ever get easier

I had my doubts about paternity I conceived in JUNE LMP 6/2 I have 28-30 cycles....
I had intercourse with partner A 6/14 6/17 partner B 6/19 4am(so 6/20?) and partner A 6/21 partner A finished all 3 times and partner b pulled out.....
I was sure it was partner A's till my first scans started dating me for most probable ovulation 6/20-6/21 and it freaked me out beyond words
I got partner B to do DDC's NIPT with me on 8/27 got my results 9/18 which excluded him I was beyond happy now two weeks later I want to trust my results but recent false positives from two other females online have made me question my test....
I contacted DDC and due to my uncertainty they offered to review my results and if any questionable circumstances arise they would retest but I don't think I can get partner B to redo it for me I hope that is not the case....
as you can imagine im in a relationship which was rocky at that time and I just can find the courage to tell my partner about my doubts I hope my results are accurate and that when I hold my baby in march that he will look like his father.... it feels like a reoccurring nightmare mentally I want to be happy and not stress about this mistake anymore but its hard ive met enough supportive ladies here also which help distract me and help me want to trust my results but id lie if at the end of the day i could say i didn't still worry.

"Conception date" when counting from an ultrasound (if the ultrasound is early enough in the pregnancy to be useful for this purpose) is the day the sperm meets the egg and it becomes an embryo.  An egg is only viable for 24-36 hours.  But sperm can hang around for 5 days waiting for the egg to make an appearance, it does not become non-viable as fast as an egg does.  This is why someone can have sex on January 1 and conceive on January 5 -- the ovulation in that case would be on the 4th or 5th, and the waiting sperm from January 1 fertilize the egg.  But it doesn't work the other way around.  If someone ovulates on January 1, she will only have 36 hours from that point, before her egg is not going to work any more if it hasn't been fertilized.

Hi girls well I ended up writing a nice big disappointing review on trust pilot in regards to this matter. When I called also they told me that they could not show me and example of the snps tested in my case.

They wrote back a whole bunch of nonsense repeating the same info....

Momtobe when I originally called back in October due to doubtfulness they did conduct a review of my prenatal test and offered a post birth test free for me the person was Chris at thecall center..... Now as far as if it will be the same blood only test in not sure..... Or if the would give me a swab test instead.... I'm due 3/12 and if the father isn't obvious and if I have doubts I will be calling them back for the free retest

You have to order it separate ... And they offer a discount but that's it .

I didn't know that they offered post-natal testing as part of the package when doing prenatal tests.  Or is that something the woman has to order separately?

Yes after the baby is born ... ALL PRENATAL results have the same example according to Ddc . But the test after the birth is has a different set up to were you can actually see the strains tested .. Is what I got out of the women on the phone when I called

So, by "the test after," you mean after the baby is born, if someone gets another test?  The way you had it before, I thought you meant that they were talking about the prenatal test.

They said they use the "sample" on all prenatal test results so they will all be the same but the test after actually is the results like your own results to were it wouldn't match anyone elses

That seems odd.  What would the birth have to do with it?  Unless you mean they would only let someone see the actual strains if they had a test done after the baby was born.

They told me when I called that the only way to see the actual strains tested is to get one after birth.

As far as the same exclusion snp example we've received this is what ddc responded :

The reason that this information is reported on multiple reports is that these are common locations that occur in almost every test we perform.   The data is an example of how Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) can be used to determine paternity. The loci associated with the actual SNP data, amount the 2,688 proprietary SNPs examined are not listed.

Best Regards,
DDC Client Service Team

I understand that the snps tested are not shown and that what we got was an example although I'd still like to see my actual tested snps. I did respond asking if that would be possible I'll keep you all updated.

I do believe DDC got it right my baby figures my parter in alot of ways even color in eyes which ONS did not have though it can not be fully confirmed since there will not be another test done unless some type of doubt comes. Any other updates will let you ladies know Wish you guys all the best with your situations.

Was it someone who was generally sure everything lined up with dates and etc. and was just anxious, or was it someone who had gotten a result she thought was wrong?

Hi, 201603, what does "we had a case tested" mean?  Who had the case tested?  Are you saying that someone who has written on this thread who was worried that the results were inaccurate has since had her baby and tested again, and found out that the result was accurate?

my results were given to me with in 8/9 business days later when at the time it stated 20 business days wait time ( they had recently changed the 5-10 business day wait time they had prior)

My timing was a mess its just because I wasn't able to do it early on in the week that I hoped that Thursday 8/27 afternoon's draw would make it to the lab on time but my samples didn't get overnighted until Friday after 3 pm (fedex times) and probably sat in the ware house over the weekend on Monday 8/31 I got a call that only my sample has coagulated and that I needed to redraw so I rescheduled 9/8 I got my results 9/18.

I will girl I even screen shotted the ones I had from other girls .... I was panicking then I had to go back and read the confirmed post birth test forum to calm myself down I think it's more of a default setting I have an inclusion picture also and they are different well they match so I'm assuming they know what the difference is

201603 -

Mine look just like yours too. I didn't mention it because I had already asked DDC prior too that because I seen a girl post a copy of her results and everything looked the same from fetal Dna too mothers. So I freaked out of course I called and asked them since I noticed when someone had posted a copy of there results and it looked just like mine (fetal dna , mothers dna,  everything) and they said there just examples of the snps they looked at and I simply just left it at that.
Please let us know what there response is too you? Im starting too worry.
